We design our programs to accommodate the needs of busy mothers living in poverty.
This means delivering rigorous academics and expansive cultural opportunities within an environment that removes barriers to participation.
What exactly does this look like?
- We have four vans with car seats that bring students and their children to and from school.
- Our building houses a free, high quality daycare center for babies and toddlers.
- Our counselors help students set goals and navigate life’s challenges as they arise.
- A nurse practitioner is on staff each morning to provide medical care to students and their children.
- We offer food — healthy food, comfort food, celebratory food — and lots of it!
